I highly recommend Base Curve Optical. Very friendly, very helpful! Both my husband and I needed glasses and the whole process was easy and efficient and we were even able to claim back on our health fund It's a 10/10 from us!!

Highly recommended as the place to go with those with eye problems or for those like myself unaware that their eyes could be better. I used to walk past each morning to pick up my paper from the Newsagent a few doors up. A couple of weeks ago I spoke to Lucija and was fascinated in how many charitable things she was involved in for those less fortunate. Whilst talking she suggested that I get Helen to check my eyes and after a comprehensive test discovered a pair of glasses would improve my sight.She also advised me that my Medical Fund would cover the cost which they did. The best thing I can say after wearing my new glasses for the last 2 weeks is that I can now read the paper clearly each day even though news is not that good. The good news is the formation of Base Curve Optical means an excellent Optometrist is now on our doorsteps and thanks Lucija for that. Plenty of specs to choose from so definitely worth a visit.

Very good experience today for me and my son, lots of care and time taken. Experienced professionals. I’m a hard marker too as my husband is an Optometrist and we usually go to him but he is not working locally. Highly recommend and happy to support local small business!

I have found Lucija and Helen to be tremendously helpful when it came to giving me advice on the best glasses and contacts to use with the prescription I have. Helen was very thorough with her eye testing too. Highly recommended.
