Flourish Speech Pathology

Flourish is a private Speech Pathology clinic in Cheltenham, providing assessment and therapy for children with difficulties in the following areas:

1. Literacy
– Pre-literacy skills such as rhyming, syllables, learning sounds and letters
– Learning to read and spell

2. Stuttering
– Including repeating sounds, syllables or words (e.g. “can-can-can I go?”)
– Making prolonged sounds (e.g. “caaaaaan I go?”)
– Having speech “stoppages” where no sound comes out

3. Speech Sounds
– Substituting one sound for another (e.g. cat –> tat)
– Leaving sounds out of words (e.g. spoon –> poon)
– Deleting sounds from the end of words (e.g. bite –> bi)
– Unclear speech
