Kas Miller Art and Design School

We absolutely loved our art lessons here for my son in late primary school. Kas is so encouraging with the kids and always makes everyone feel seen and encouraged and special. I loved the art room too, really inspiring and magical place. Definitely send your kids here. It’s wonderful . And how many clubs can you say that about?

Kas is a true artist and an amazingly nurturing, warm, inspiring teacher. Her students are supported to explore art and their self-expression without reserve or fear of criticism. They are shown techniques to facilitate their success but also left to explore and discover things themselves. I wish I was a child again so that I could attend these classes!

I started art classes with Kas when I was in primary school and it was always the highlight of my week, this continued throughout high school. I returned to classes as an adult and it is my favourite way to unwind. Unlike a lot of art classes, Kas’s art classes don’t make you all do the same thing (not all sitting around painting the same bowl of fruit), you go to her classes with an idea of what you like to create, and Kas is there to provide the tools and the assistance to help your ideas come to fruition, Kas also provides many books, magazines etc. to help inspire your creativity. I highly recommend going to Kas’s art classes, whether your a skilled artist, or beginner, you’ll absolutely love these classes.

I went to classes here for 11 years and have loved every second of it. I started back in year 7 and have gone from being someone with not a lot of technical ability to being able to draw people in lots of realistic detail. I personally used this class as down time in my school week where I could be totally relaxed and de-stress from school. It is the most beautiful, supportive environment to be a part of and I cherished every class! Kas is a one of a kind teacher, and anyone would be lucky to have her as a teacher!

Kas has been a wonderful teacher for my daughter who still sees Kaz weekly since 2017. She’s incredibly kind and nurturing towards her students. I 100% recommend.

Kas nurtured my love of painting and creating from a very young age and she has genuinely taught me so much. She knows when to push you, when to help and when to provide some inspiration. Beyond this, she is a fabulous person and mentor. Everyone truly needs some Kas in their life.
