Sandringham Veterinary Hospital is an independent practice experienced in providing ethical and professional care for your four legged companions. We have two full-time vets, Dr Sue Chaney, and Dr Aaron Teh. We aim to make your pet feel at ease in our clinic with a caring and gentle approach (not everyone can feel at ease as Pebbles, the Great Dane pup who fell asleep on the examination table -see photo below).
We are a small clinic and enjoy the close relationships we develop to our patients, but still provide the complex medical, surgical and emergency treatment in addition to routine preventative care and health checks. Sandringham Veterinary Hospital has digital x-ray processing, the best anaesthetic monitoring equipment, a state-of-the-art dental unit and modern diagnostic equipment including an ultrasound unit. We also have a good set of weighing scales, handy for patients up to 120kg, and, occasionally, small children (the children below are from The Village early learning centre around the corner).
The clinic runs by appointments, and is open 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday, and 8am – 1pm Saturdays. We are closed Saturday afternoons and Sundays so staff can enjoy family time, but are available to regular patients with a 24 hour after hours service when the clinic is closed.
