Dr Anthony Briggs is a registered Chiropractor and is committed to inspiring individuals of all ages to make powerful life-changing improvements to their health, by providing professional Chiropractic care in a nurturing and educational environment.

Anthony has moved into Chiropractic from a long professional career in Critical Care Nursing. He maintains the connection to the medical health care system as a specialist nurse and regularly works throughout Melbourne’s private sector hospitals learning from his varied exposure in theatre and intensive care.

Anthony has also completed a 20 month post graduate Chiropractic Neuro-Rehabilitation course through the Carrick Institute. He is a member of the Australasian Academy of Functional Neurology and is proactive in extending his knowledge though regular conferences, seminars and peer to peer associations to enable greater patient outcomes in practice. Anthony is also a member of the Chiropractic Association of Australia and supports research in chiropractic neurology and health care delivery.

Anthony’s philosophy is that optimal health is a function of the brain, gut and immune system working together in an optimal manner. Chiropractic care creates changes to the person’s system in order to positively impact this complex relationship and increase the person’s lived experience. Anthony’s approach is founded upon the principals of neuroplasticity and the body’s ability to adapt to change. Each person is treated differently and requires a specific approach each visit to improve their function and wellbeing.

Anthony lives in Bayside Melbourne, and is happily married with three wonderful children. He understands the influence of optimising health through a holistic natural approach. Anthony is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, and regularly cycles, runs the dog.
