Bad Shepherd Brewing Co. is an independent microbrewery and restaurant located in Cheltenham. The brainchild of local, husband and wife team, Dereck and Diti Hales, the brewpub focuses on producing quality, approachable beers and creating a unique inviting venue for Bayside locals to enjoy.

Bad Shepherd is all about tempting you with fine craft beer and complementing that with a menu heaving with smoked meat delicacies and good ol’ fashioned comfort food, as well as plentiful vegetarian and vegan options.

With a focus on supporting Victorian and local small business, patrons can also make the most of guest taps as well as boutique Victorian wines and spirits.

“Local is very important to us”, says Dereck. “We want to provide locals with a reason to stay local when heading out for a good time. Where possible we buy from local suppliers to support businesses and re-invest back into the community.”
