Hi, my name is Maggie and I am a Division 1 Registered Nurse, a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) and have a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education.

I like to help people living with type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes.

The areas I can assist with include:

  • Type 1 diabetes – new and ongoing management – exercise, travel, pre conception planning
    Smart meters / app on phone – to assist with managing insulin when counting carbohydrates,
  • Insulin pump therapy education – pump preparation, upgrades and new pump starts,
  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring – education, interpretation,
  • NDSS registration,
  • Blood glucose meters – provision, education and set up,
  • Insulin commencement and ongoing management,
  • Pre-conception planning for people living with diabetes,
  • Gestational diabetes – education and ongoing management.

I am passionate about supporting people living with diabetes to live their best life.
