Kiwanis Club of Brighton

Kiwanis is an international community service organization which seeks to create a brighter future for the children of the world. In an atmosphere of fun and friendship we are involved in a range of local and international projects in addition to supporting other organizations in their efforts to improve the quality of life for children.

Kiwanis Brighton has a particular focus on sick and “at risk” children and youth.

Our main projects involve support for:

• HeartKids Victoria,
• the Royal Children’s Hospital
• Monash Medical Centre Paediatric Unit, and
• the supply of Hygiene Kits for homeless youth (via Moira and Open Family).

We also support the Bayside Film Festival, Foundation House, Red Cross, and other organizations in addition to involvement in some specific Kiwanis school-based programs such as Terrific Kids.
