At the very beginning, after listening to me vent about all my issues, he asked “so what does good look like for you” - I wish all professionals asked their customers this question, as it meant he tackled the problem from my perspective. Within an hour he had created significant spare storage space on my at-capacity laptop and iPhone, adjusted all my settings to more effectively use cloud storage, set up a simple but reliable photo backup strategy, and most importantly taught me how to use and maintain it all so I will never again get the dreaded message of “Your device has run out of storage”. Lovely guy, tailored service, very reasonable rates, and clear and simple communication. I struggled with the concept of paying for this type of advice as I *should* have been able to DIY, but honestly it was money very well spent.

Alistair was great to deal with. I had a very specific problem with a client's POS data that he solved with some clever VBA (Excel Macro) coding. He doesn't mention that skill set on his website, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any problem involving Excel data. Very reasonable rates for this type of high level work too.
